All that inspiration
A freind asked me, if I've ever read any of Elizabeth Zimmermann's books. 'No' was the answer.
Alice Starmore is also on my 'to read list'.
For all the money I'm saving now, that I'm not buying any yarn, I've ordered some nice books.
I recieved one of them today - so good to come home from work and find this in the mailbox.
WOW - so much inspiration, so many beautiful models.

I like that one too! Only reason why I haven't done anything from that book is because it's going to be tough (for me) to convert the colours or come up with new colour schemes.
Have you see DeeAnn's, http://feelingtangerine.blogspot.com/ , Alba?

That is a beautiful book! And if you think that one is good, wait until you see Aran Knitting (my favorite), and Jade Starmore's A Collector's Item!
I have "Donegal" all ready to knit up from the Celtic Collection.

Oh, how great! I've seen so many amazing projects by Alice Starmore that I'm dying to get one of her books as well, preferably the one you bought - these Celtic Designs just rock! I'm so curious to see which projects you'll choose to make out of all this inspiration! Happy Starmore-knitting!

Oh Anni, Alice Starmore is another one of my favorites. 'Aran Knitting' is great, and she wrote a prety nice book on Fair Isle work too. She is from those cold northern atlantic islands somewhere and Fair Isle is in her heritage. Oh I envy all the good reading you have ahead of you! -

Oh, that's my all time favorite book. I love it. Although I have not yet made anything from there, at the time when I bought it the Rowan yarns were out of my price range. I did sit down and converted all the 20 colors for one cardigan to another brand, and some day I will make it :)
Your Hillswick sweater is just gorgeous! I love the colors. I also wanted to say thank you for your comment on my blog :)
